VERSION 2 SUPPORT

NOTE: Support for Versions 1 and 2 will be discontinued after June 1, 2016 - except for assistance in upgrading to Version 4. It will not be possible to activate any Version 2 downloads after that date making transfer to another computer impossible.

 

Before that date, users should click on File>Export File to export a backup file to your desktop that can be used for upgrading to Version 4. Click here for more details and upgrade instructions.

 

SECURITY ALERT:

Microsoft Windows Users of QuiltAlbum Versions 1 and 2.

The Department of Homeland Security has recently announced that Apple has discontinued support on PC Windows for the Apple product Quicktime and that there are known security flaws.

 

Quicktime is used in the PC Windows versions of QuiltAlbum Versions 1 and 2. We URGE users of these versions to upgrade immediately to QuiltAlbum Version 4 and then to uninstall Quicktime from their computers.  Version 4 does not make use of Quicktime. Click here for upgrade instructions.

 

This does NOT apply to Mac users.

 

QuiltAlbum Versions 1 and 2 will continue to function without Quicktime only certain functions will be disabled. Nevertheless upgrading to Version 4 is a much better solution since Version 2 will not be supported after June 1, 2016.

 

If you continue to use Versions 1 and 2 of QuiltAlbum without Quicktime, at the very least click on File>Export File periodically to export a backup file to your desktop that can be used for upgrading to Version 4.
